The Phantom of the Opera (Original 1986 London Cast)
By Charles Hart
see relatedLots of pictures!
Sunday:
Amy, Rochelle, Carolyn & I all went to see Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theater. There really are no words... I've actually seen it live before, but I wouldn't mind seeing it every single day. I absolutely LOVE IT! Amy got us the tickets as a graduation gift, and they were quite fancy. They were box seats & included a private bar and lounge area. I somehow managed to behave myself and didn't make a scene or anything!
This is when we were waiting outside to get in. Apparently Cirque du Soleil is in town, and these crazy stilt people came over to advertise. They were interesting...
There actually were no cameras allowed in the theater, but I snuck mine in anyway. However, I only managed to get this one picture in the private lounge area. I was so afraid they'd catch me with a camera and throw us out! And that was a chance I wasn't willing to take...
The show was amazing. I heart the phantom.
Monday:
We went to play pool! Well, we first tried to go play putt-putt golf, but that didn't work out because the golf place closes WAY too early. But no hard feelings- because we got to play POOL instead!
I'm horrible at pool- I openly admit this. But when the night includes good company, good drinks & good times- I'm always in.
Here I am lining up my shot.
And Warren lining up his... It's definitely an advantage to have long arms! Totally not fair...
Amy -- her game definitely improved as the night went on.
Here we have Rochelle messing with Bryan. Sneaky, sneaky...
Amy & myself.
Warren & me. I'm not crazy about this picture- because it looks like he's wearing that air vent as a hat.
Isn't this a great picture?! I like it.
Anyway- it was a good night. I've ruled out pool player as a future career choice- but may still keep it as a hobby.

I've never considered you to be a "tall" person before, but after looking at the picture of you and Amy....
I like the hat!
I too like the air vent not-hat.
It's like he's a figurine in a nativity scene.
Lisa -- Amy is my "little friend." She's only 4'8" and definitely makes me look tall! Yeah- we get a laugh when people offer her the kids' menu or when the bars check her ID 5 times before letting her in...
Does this mean I can be in the "tall club" with you?? :)
You can be in the tall club...only if Amy is around as a point of reference.
